Michael Ray Garvin
Founder & President
Michael Ray Garvin, is a Christian, Husband, Dad, Unworthy Servant of Jesus, & Athletic Trainer, who loves the Lord God with all of his heart, soul, and mind.
At the age of 14 Michael accepted Jesus and was baptized at Saint Paul Community Baptist Church. During high school and his early years of college he was not living out his faith.
Coach Bobby Bowden, Clint Pervis (Chaplain), and Pastor Reggie (FCA) were ministering to Michael and his teammates during his time at Florida State University.
In 2009, when Michael was picked up by the Arizona Cardinals he attended Faith Christian Center pastored by Sean Moore. This was life changing for him in understanding how to live a life consistent with what he believed.
He has dedicated his life completely to the Lord. Michael has been serving in ministry for over 11 years. During his time with the Arizona Cardinals, he started ministering in the practice locker room. In 2013, the Lord led him to start a ministry called BelieverZ N Da Hood, which focused on ministering to impoverished areas in America. In 2020, the ministry was changed to Playmakers In The Faith to help reach every culture and race worldwide.
Michael Ray has served as a Church Parking lot Volunteer, an Usher, an Evangelist, Youth Pastor, an Area Rep with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and an assistant defensive backs & track coach at Cypress Christian School. He earned four state championships in 5 years (two in football and two in track). He coached WR & Special Teams at Fort Bend Christian Academy. In 2022, his first season at Fort Bend Christian, Michael was a part of the school's first State Championship in Division 2 TAPPS. Now, the Lord has him ministering to the next generation of youth through Evangelism in the schools, jails, house and screen discipleship.
